Massachusetts Thoracic Society Annual Meeting
Each year, the Massachusetts Thoracic Society holds its annual meeting for health care professionals interested in respiratory disease and critical care medicine. The meeting is jointly sponsored by the MTS, the American Thoracic Society, and the American Lung Association of Massachusetts.
Attendees hear educational presentations about new developments and significant issues which affect the care of patients with respiratory disease. These presentations are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).
The meeting includes the presentation of the Henry D. Chadwick Medal Award, which recognizes a recipient for outstanding service in the field of pulmonary disease. Attendees can also network with colleagues and visit vendor exhibits to learn important information about the innovative products and services available to them and their practices.
In addition, the election of the Society's officers and council members takes place at the annual meeting.
2009 Annual Meeting
The 64th Annual Meeting of the Massachusetts Thoracic Society will be held on April 1, 2009 at the Marriott Boston Newton in Newton, MA.
